ERWIN PRODUCTS and it's sister company 3D DESIGN AND DRAFTING are located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains near Branson, Missouri. Founded by its owner Erwin McQueen a second-generation homebuilder and Licensed Florida Residential General Contractor with 35 years experience in Engineering and Construction. Erwin grew up in the building business with his father building fine custom homes around Michigan. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education, Manufacturing and Construction Erwin went on to teaching for a short period before moving on to becoming a Product Design Engineer in the automotive and truck and bus industries. All the while remaining involved in building with a number of personal projects. Erwin's last engineering position was with American LaFrance as Engineering Manager for one of its firetruck manufacturing plants in Ocala, Florida. Just after 9-11 American LaFrance closed the Florida plant and Erwin decided to go back into the home building business where he started Citrus Custom Homes, Inc. which was very successful and was rapidly establishing itself as one of the finest builders in Citrus Co. Following the housing crash Erwin decided to get out of building in Florida and move to the Branson area where he and his wife are building a home. In addition to engineering and construction Erwin is an expert woodworker, building fine custom cabinetry and furniture for over 40 years.
